Day 7: My least favorite episode

There's not a lot to say about this episode because... well, because I don't like it.
Puppet Show. What the hell is this episode even about? I just hate it.
I mean, first of all, puppets are creepy. And then the puppet is a demon hunter? or a demon who kills demons? I don't even remember. But either way, I think where this episode goes wrong, is that it seems to really think we should mourn or feel sincere pity for the puppet demon-hunter dude. And Buffy (or someone, I don't remember) lifts his little lifeless body gingerly and says something about him being at peace or being gone or something. It's horrible. It's campy, that's for sure. So I guess you can defend this episode on those grounds. I just don't know if the show is self aware enough at this point. It really seems like the pathos is played straight. So... meh.
I'll grant you that the play after the credits is masterful--and worthy of praise. But other than that, I cannot condone this episode.
Here, as a consolation prize for this underwhelming post, have a gif or four!
Puppet Show is probably best enjoyed after one or two of these:

But, sober, I see that creepy puppet, and I go:

And then they want me to be sad that he/it is dead--and I go, "Pfft."

And then I try and cleanse my pallet by watching Intervention--and it makes me all:
